Today's Activities Your memorable tour in Beijing begins from the largest and grandest square in the world - Tiananmen Square. Walking through the square, you will come to the magnificent Forbidden City. After enjoying lunch, begin to visit Summer Palace, the imperial palace and garden of Qing Dynasty. Followed by the world-famous Kungfu Show. Finally you will be transferred to the hotel.

If you are not very interested in Chinese Kungfu Show, please feel free to indicate us, we are pleased to change it to the fascinating Peking Opera performance in the front zone at Liyuan Theatre with no additional charge.

Day 3

Today's Activities This morning excursion takes you to Ming Tombs to get a better understanding of emperors in Ming Dynasty. A delicate lunch with Sichuan Cuisine will be served at the local best restaurant afterwards. After lunch, continue to conquer the wonderful and scenic Mutianyu Great Wall (including round-trip cable car).

Day 4

Today's Activities This morning, you will visit Temple of Heaven where ancient emperors worshipped and prayed for harvest. Then, you will experiencing the Chinese traditional life style in the Hutong area by rickshaw. Be transferred to the airport to board the flight to Xian, the hometown of Terra Cotta Army. Local guide in Xian will warmly welcome you according to your flight schedule.

Day 5

Today's Activities After having the breakfast at the hotel, your excursion begins with the incredible 2000 year-old Terra-Cotta Army, one of the Eight Wonders in the World. The Warriors are part of the underground tomb of the Emperor Qin. You will marvel at the different features and facial expressions of those terra-cotta warriors and horses. After lunch, our guide will take you to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the landmark of Xian. For today's dinner, the scheduled Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show will be offered after the Dumpling Banquet. Banquet.

Today's Activities After breakfast we will head to the Great Mosque and the Moslem Street. Then transfer to the airport and fly to Chongqing. Upon arrival, time permitting, you will be transferred to the historic Ciqikou Old Town. After dinner, embark on the deluxe Century Star Cruise Ship which weighs anchor at 22:30.

Day 7

Today's Activities A Safety, Orientation & River Briefing presentation will be arranged for you in the morning. After lunch, we'll land at Fengdu for an excursion to enjoy the fabulous karst landscape at Snowy Jade Cave. The wonderful Captain's Welcome Party starts 20:00. Just enjoy the Chinese folk dance and music performance, and join in the party to relax yourselves.

Day 8

Yangtze River Cruise

Today's Activities Today's sailing along Yangtze River offers you the unrivalled sights of the grand Qutang Gorge and the enticing Wu Gorge. The knowledgeable river guide will offer you more ideas about the Three Gorges including the ancient plank road, mengliang stairway, and hanging coffins, etc. Then land at Badong for a small wooden boat trip to enjoy the breathtaking natural beauties of the crystal clear Shennong Stream. Return to the ship and continue sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge. At tonight's Farewell Party, you can join in the amazing performance by the cruise staff.

Day 9

Yichang - Shanghai

Today's Activities Explore the gargantuan project of the Three Gorges Dam after breakfast. Then return to the ship and prepare for check-out. The ship will reach Yichang at about 11:30 and our guide will meet you on board. After lunch at a famed restaurant, our guide will transfer you to the airport, and then you will fly to the dynamic Shanghai. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by another local guide and transferred to the hotel.

Day 10

Today's Activities In the morning, head for Shanghai Museum where a large number of cultural relics from different Dynasties are displayed and nanjing Road. After enjoying lunch, visit Yuyuan Garden with the local market nearby, and then take a walk along Tianzifang where you can find the special architecture of old shanghai city. Enjoy the exciting Acrobatic Show. Drive back to the hotel.

1. Guide Service and Shops
Each one of the tour guide services was always friendly and informative. We especially enjoyed Sandy in Beijing, Judy in Chongqing, Tiger at the Three Gorges, Nick in Shanghai and Joanne in Guilin - Yangshuo. We can't be effusive enough in describing their services.
Although we did make stops at several souvenir shops and factories, we never felt pressured to make any purchases. In fact, the shops (tea, embroidery, Friendship store, etc.) were very interesting.
2. Driver Service and Vehicle
Without exception, the drivers were all highly skilled, courteous and helpful. The vans were always clean, comfortable and equipped with air conditioning. Riding in traffic in the big cities was always thrilling and an exciting adventure on its own.
3. Lunches and Dinners
Although all the meals were good, we enjoyed the lunches and dinners more when we had the chance to have these meals separate from the large tour groups, such as the meals during the Yangtze River Cruise. Our favorites were the dumpling lunch in Beijing, the hot pot dinner in Chongqing, the lunch in Yichang and the extra fancy dinner in Yangshuo.
Although we were warned that the "quality of the food" at the lunch aboard the ship in Quilin - Yangshuo would not be "as good as the normal meals", we found it to be perfectly adequate.
4. Hotels
With the exception of the hotel accommodations at the New Century Hotel in Yangshuo, which had very hard, uncomfortable beds (no matresses, only bedsprings), all the hotel accommodations were excellent.
5. Daily Bottled Water
Yes. We got two bottles of water each day,Thank you.
