Today's Activities Pick you up at the hotel. Start to explore the capital city by visiting Tiananmen Square. Getting through the Tiananmen Gate Tower to see the splendid Forbidden City which presents more than 500 years history. After lunch, drive to Temple of Heaven, a site for ancient emperors worshipped and prayed for good harvest. Enjoy Beijing Roast Duck as dinner before appreciating the fascinating Peking Opera in the VIP zone at Liyuan Theatre.

Today's Activities Discover the magnificent sights and stunning views of Great Wall by strolling along the well-preserved Badaling Great Wall. Enjoy CTO special lunch arrangement in a featured local style restaurant. Head towards the imperial Ming Tombs through Sacred Way in the afternoon.

Day 4

Today's Activities Visit Summer Palace, the imperial garden of Qing Dynasty. Then experience the authentic local life style of Hutong culture by rickshaw. Transfer to the airport and take the flight to Xian. CTO local guide will meet you at the airport. A sumptuous western buffet dinner will be served in the hotel tonight.

Today's Activities Drive to the world miracle Terra-Cotta Army to witness the fantastic project, after lunch,go ahead to see Banpo Neolithic Village and the land mark of Xian-Big Wild Goose Pagoda. You will be kindly regaled with both the dinner of Dumpling Banquet and the splendid Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show at a well-decorated local restaurant.

Today's Activities Head towards the Xian City Wall and the well-preserved Great Mosque, then enjoy some free time in the nearby Muslim Food Street. After lunch, transfer to airport and take the flight to Shanghai. CTO local guide will meet you at Shanghai airport.

Today's Activities The first stop of Shanghai is to visit the Shanghai Museum which houses large collections of historical items. Then go ahead to the famous Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, visit Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center to get more specific ideas on the integrated development of the internatinal city. The well known Bund and bustling Nanjing Road are followed by. Today's sumptuous and palatable authentic local style dinner will be followed by the exciting Acrobatic Show.

Today's Activities After breakfast, your wonderful China tour ends. Please arrange your transportation to the airport to exit China. We CTO suggest you book a taxi or airport shuttle bus service at the hotel receptionist by yourself the day before your departure since your tour service excludes the transfer from the hotel to the airport. Please note that there are two airports in Shanghai. One is Pudong International Airport (PVG) and the other is Hongqiao International Airport (SHA). Kindly pay much attention to the airport of the international ticket you reserved and make sure you get to the right one. Client Reviews

1. Guide Service and Shops
Each one of the tour guide services was always friendly and informative. We especially enjoyed Sandy in Beijing, Judy in Chongqing, Tiger at the Three Gorges, Nick in Shanghai and Joanne in Guilin - Yangshuo. We can't be effusive enough in describing their services.
Although we did make stops at several souvenir shops and factories, we never felt pressured to make any purchases. In fact, the shops (tea, embroidery, Friendship store, etc.) were very interesting.
2. Driver Service and Vehicle
Without exception, the drivers were all highly skilled, courteous and helpful. The vans were always clean, comfortable and equipped with air conditioning. Riding in traffic in the big cities was always thrilling and an exciting adventure on its own.
3. Lunches and Dinners
Although all the meals were good, we enjoyed the lunches and dinners more when we had the chance to have these meals separate from the large tour groups, such as the meals during the Yangtze River Cruise. Our favorites were the dumpling lunch in Beijing, the hot pot dinner in Chongqing, the lunch in Yichang and the extra fancy dinner in Yangshuo.
Although we were warned that the "quality of the food" at the lunch aboard the ship in Quilin - Yangshuo would not be "as good as the normal meals", we found it to be perfectly adequate.
4. Hotels
With the exception of the hotel accommodations at the New Century Hotel in Yangshuo, which had very hard, uncomfortable beds (no matresses, only bedsprings), all the hotel accommodations were excellent.
5. Daily Bottled Water
Yes. We got two bottles of water each day,Thank you.
